"Resurgence" emerges from the depths of the shadowy landscape carved by the first album of this series, "Lithium," the first album between Denver based Trumpeter Joshua Trinidad and Mumbai based electronic artist Riatsu. Carrying forward the exploration of the mind's tumultuous terrain, while "Lithium" delved into the murky world of bipolar disorder, mental health - seeking balance amidst chaos, "Resurgence" represents the journey of rebirth and renewal.

The album captures the essence of a mind gradually awakening from the stupor of despair, finding clarity and strength. "Resurgence" offers a beacon of hope for those navigating their own turbulent waters. It's a reminder that after every fall, there is an opportunity to rise again. This album confronts the realities of mental health wellness in two different communities, half a world away: Latino / Chicano Community in Colorado and that of Mumbai, India. Sharing similar stories and progress; this album brings together the story of hope within two worlds and cultures.  

This album is also a celebration of the human capacity for renewal, a call to embrace the possibility of a brighter tomorrow. An auditory reflection of the indomitable will to find light, even in the darkest of times.

After a brief hiatus Intelligent Life is back with their new album “Analogies.” Drawing inspiration from Herman Melville’s novel “Moby-Dick” the trio further delves into the complexities of life through experimentation and exploration of the avant-garde. Soulfully recorded and intricately detailed, sounds and emotions richly interweave through idiosyncratic harmonics and rhythms. Giving way to a high reaching vision the music surfs the architecture of an electronic structure that is constantly in flux.

There is a sublime tenderness here. Amid cascading harmonics a complex yet informal conversation is going on. Subtle melancholic strains, teased out through distortion techniques and odd phrasings, push the boundaries of experimental music. Much like Komorebi, the Japanese word for sun light filtering through trees, the electronics, bass and trumpet lines dapple and scatter as they transform dreamy into ethereal.

“Analogies” is a compilation of quiet introspection. A sense of wistfulness prevails. Impeccable audio production showcases the interplay of sounds. Captured beautifully, its message of wisdom, reason, and comfort are crystal clear.

“Feminista Manifestó” is a debut 15-track album that captures more layers to Celesté Martinez's story, her identity as a Queer Chicana, and intersectional feminist politics. This collection of songs includes a combination of original works and intentionally selected covers that captures the band’s unique sound of Latin Folk and Riot Grrrl Punk Rock. The aspiration is for this debut album to be as accessible as a Riot Grrrl zine- something that can be picked up and flipped through leaving an impression, a question, a point of curiosity.
